Thursday 9/6 - Finally my official rest day! Had always been wondering..
when will be block leave day be or will I even get it? Was supposed to go the the beach with Sentosa with Clarice but she was stuck with her roadshow. She could take out 3 hours of her time but I wanted to spend the whole day there. So it was cancelled and I my whole day was actually spent at home. Played computer games, read my unfinished book, watched television..
Well, these are the typical stuffs I will do when I have to spend a day at home. =) And yes, the world premier of
Lost. There was already intensity to the start of the show and each moment just keeps you in suspense. Its like every single part reaches a climax and then BANG! A certain mystery to the island and there's a 'it' there everyone is unsure of running lose in the jungles. And what's a polar bear doing on the island? Just have to watch on to find out....... :o By the way, I miss the O.C.. I think it should be back next week.
Friday 10/6 - Went out with Yanlin for lunch at Wheelock's Sakae and then played a few games of pool at Cineleisure. Then rushed back to school because of one pathetic MSI laptop but at the same time went there to take a look at Club Crawl. I signed up for some CCAs.. Haha.. However, for the one that I had always wanted to sign up for since year 1, I didn't! It is none other than tennis. Hmm.. Yup so after much squeezing at the sports hall, headed down to Bazaar to check out on the MSI laptop. Realised it wasn't there and gave a call to MSC Fusion asking whether it was delivered. No was the reply and I smsed the supplier once again only to find out that it had been already delivered and it was with IM. Zzzzz.. so settled with that and called the guy to come down to collect it. Just as I thought my job was done, Ms Soh came in and saw me. "Hey Cheryl, I thought you were on block leave today?" In reply, I said that I came to settle the MSI laptop and to my horror she said "Oh, since you are already here, can you run through the stocks for Karadora and get back to me?"
Just great, I thought.
I was in Bazaar at the perfect moment. Well, to make things more diffcult for me, the product list was nowhere to be found. I had no other choice but to write down everything again on a blank piece of paper. Haha.. but in a way it was a good for me too because I still had to wait for Clarice to finish up her stuffs so we could leave school.
And when everything was done, it was off to the Esplanade! Hmm.. it seems that that place has become out favourite hangout on Fridays. As usual, had our meal at Gluttons Bay and checked out the outdoor performance. The performance was by a Fillipino I guess? Quite a good looking guy =X and he have what it takes to do Musicals. Perhaps he has already but I don't know.. it's my first time seeing him. It seems popular though, the place was fully packed and there were still by-standers around the area. I reckon too that it is rather popular with the middle-aged group. And yah, he really gets the audience involved. Asking them to snap their fingers to the beat, cracking jokes now and then, and even going up to some for a dance.
Soon there was a break. We wanted to go back in but there was another performance outside. We decided to sit down and watch. Soon, it started drizzling. Kinda felt this strange feeling like why is it raining just after we sit. Clarice said the rain was man-made and I kept looking up to see. Haha.. it was kinda funny but it was actually REALLY raining. Anyway, apparently there was 1 guy, painted in yellow and 2 ladies painted in green and pink respectively, all kinda half-naked. They seemed to be experimenting on some kind of magical solution. They pour it somewhere and they will mix it up with their hands and after a while, the solution will continuously pour out till it stops and hardens up like a exploding spongy pie. It's kinda fascinating by till today, I am still wondering what's it about because I dont get it? Artistic and creative though...
Next up was Haagen-Daaz ice-cream. We both bought a single scoop each on a cone. One Baileys and one Belgian chocolate. The ice-cream was nice but it melted fast. Clarice did a few artistic drops on her yellow t shirt. She became a walking chocolate banana. =P
Ate so much today. Cause my dad fetched me at the MRT, went home and picked up my mum and grandparents for dinner and I just tagged along.. only to find myself staring at the delicious food in front of my eyes. I couldn't eat anymore but you know.. =X
So that wraps up the day and I regretted not bringing my camera!!!
Saturday 11/6 - Day is not over yet and the usual, going for guitar lessons and out for dinner with friends. Probably going to eat at Fish and Co. =)
